David and Connor love playing with balls, so we went to the Packer Family Night with my family. David had a blast, he loved watching them play, sat really good and loved the fireworks show they had. He also had a blast at Bay Beach in the morning before we went to the game. Cassandra and David play so good together and had to sit with each other at the game. We can’t wait to see them again.
Best buddy’s, they love each other!
We were 40 rows up from the end zone.
Cheering on the packers………………. He is a bears fan at heart….
Although I know this is a month late, Connor is now 19 months old. We had his check up and he is weighing 19 lbs. 2 oz and at 30 ½ inches long. Although he is not on the charts for height and weight we are happy that he has gained a few more ounces. We are still working on the acid reflux and eating issues and are now trying new medications. He is so good at taking the medicine that sometimes he has started to run to the stairs or sofa and will look at me and smile as he lays his head on them. He know loves to try running with David and can crawl up the stairs like a pro. He has to go everywhere David goes and David loves having Connor follow him.
We went to the Day out with Thomas again this year, but this time Daddy got to go with. David had so much fun showing Daddy all the trains and both boys loved riding the train. David got his tattoos and felt so special picking out one for Connor. However Connor did not care for Sir Topham Hat and cried while we attempted a picture. Overall it was a fun day and we can’t wait to go back to the Train museum again to see the trains.

Connor’s Thomas Tattoo, not sure what to think of it.
This summer we tried David with Tee-Ball. He is doing great and loves it, and we are having fun watch him play on Tuesday nights. He is starting to understand the concept of swinging/hitting the ball and running the bases. In a few years he will be playing baseball. He is growing up to quickly.
With taking Connor camping for the first time, I figured it would be fun to get his haircut for the first time to. Since I had help with David I took the opportunity to take him to Super Cuts and get it done. His hair in back was starting to get long, but now he does not look like a baby anymore, but like a little toddler. However he is still cute.
In this hot weather, nothing can cool you off faster outside then running through sprinklers and playing in water. We have spent a few days playing at the sprinkler parks around us, and even though David will run, jump, and try to climb the water sprinklers, Connor wants nothing to do with them when the water is shooting up. If there is no water coming from them, he is perfectly happy running around the waterless sprinklers. Maybe next year he will be more interested in the sprinklers.
For the 4th of July this year we did something different and Mommy and the boys went camping. It was only David’s 3rd time camping, but Connor’s first. The boys exceeded Mommy’s expectations and were great. Between playing at the beach and the park they had a blast. The first night was hard sleeping wise, but the rest of the trip went great. We got to see the fireworks in the town I saw them in when I was David’s age. Although the show was not as great as big towns, it was perfect for all the little kids. We had a blast, and I hope they will be willing to go camping at least once next year.
On Friday, 3 guys in Indiana started playing all the Mario games for Child’s Play. Child’s Play is an organization that donates toys, books and games to children’s hospital around the world. We saw first hand just how much games and game systems help kids while in the hospital with Connor for a week. A 10 yr. old was in their trying to get his diabetes under control and was able to play a Wii system and the new super Mario bros. game. We think this is an awesome thing they are doing, and are glad to donate to it. We encourage all our family and friends to do the same. Please visit them at www.mariomarathon.com and try to give a little and join in on the fun. Here is David playing the first level of Super Mario on the Wii by himself. *sorry about the bad video, I was testing out the new iPhone 4 uploading directly to YouTube feature*
We took the boys for their first trip to the Zoo over Memorial Day weekend, and then David, Connor and I went with a friend last week Tuesday back to the Zoo. There is so much to see, and the boys loved it. We can’t wait to take them their again.
For his last Preschool field trip of the year, David went to a horse farm. They got to learn how they take care of horses, see what they eat, how they are washed, and even got to ride one. He loved it so much he asked if he could have a horse. Then he saw the cat at the barn and decided chasing the cat with his friends was more fun.
Brushing the horse, he was really gently surprisingly.
Ms. Amanda, attempting to get him to let the horse lick his hand.

It isn’t easy trying to get 11 four year olds to stand still for a class picture.
